Biscuit is a friendly, high-energy golden retriever who loves belly rubs and playing fetch. He gets along great with kids and other dogs but can be a little jumpy when he first meets someone new. He knows basic commands: sit, stay, down, come, and leave it. He pulls on leash if he sees a squirrel, so keep a firm grip.
Allergies & Restrictions
Chicken-based treats (causes itchy skin and ear infections). No rawhide bones (choking hazard). No grapes, raisins, chocolate, or xylitol products.
📋 Daily Schedule
Morning
30 minutes around the neighborhood. Always use the blue harness (hanging by the front door). Bring poop bags from the basket on the entry table.
1 cup of Purina Pro Plan (salmon formula) in the stainless steel bowl. Add 1 pump of fish oil from the bottle on the counter. Fresh water refill.
1 Cosequin chew (green bag on the kitchen counter). He takes it like a treat, no hiding needed.
Afternoon
15-20 minutes. Quick potty break and some sniffing time. He likes to go to the grassy area behind the building.
2-3 small training treats (Zuke's brand in the treat jar). Practice "sit" and "shake" to keep him sharp.
Evening
1 cup of Purina Pro Plan (salmon formula). Same stainless bowl, rinsed first. He eats fast so no need to wait around.
20-30 minutes. He has more energy in the evening so a longer route is good. Reflective leash clip is on the harness.
Night
Quick 5 minute walk right outside. He should go quickly. Lock the door behind you.
Small dental chew (Greenies, in the pantry). He takes it to his bed in the living room corner. Lights off by 10:15.
